This is what Kristen said about planning/styling the party- “The mommy to be didn’t find out what she was having so we had to keep the shower gender neutral. She was doing the nursery in a safari theme so I wanted to integrate that into the look of the shower. I kept the colors very neutral and natural with pops of metallic to add a glam touch. We did one long table for all of the guests with natural elements to keep with the safari feel. The main table featured delicious and adorable mini donuts from Home Bakeshop along with salads and quiche befitting the brunch time of the shower. Some of my favorite details were the succulents I hand made out of felt. I also loved the animals that I painted gold to make them a little more glam. Another adorable element was the elephant rocker which was decorated with ribbon and a wreath around its neck. The shower was gender neutral but still fun and whimsical and most importantly was a huge sit with the guests and most importantly the mommy to be”.
