We recently teamed up with HUGGIES® Baby Shower Planner to bring you some creative baby shower inspiration… something LOVE talking about around here anyways, as you may have gathered. ;) I thought it would be fun to kick things off with a detailed round-up of our favorite Book Themed Baby Shower ideas, which is a theme I’ve been asked about a lot lately. Added bonus: it’s gender neutral!

One of the first things that always comes to mind for me for this theme – is the clever activity quiz from an adorable children’s book baby shower that we featured a while back. It’s always been a super popular download here, but was previously only available as a text document. One of the most fun parts about this theme is all the creative book & character associated food. Pizzazzerie designed a baby shower for her friend with a thoughtful, delicious and clever menu!

5. Hungry Caterpillar Cake Pops by Leoni ofJust Call Me Martha
While general storybook themes work really well, it can also be really neat to focus on a single book like Goodnight Moon or The Rainbow Fish. Leoni made these creative “Hungry Caterpillar” Cake Pops- adding freshness and creativity to the dessert table!

Kristen did a fabulous job creating several themed tables, each inspired by a different children’s book. Every table was decked out with gorgeous themed florals, creative centerpieces, and adorable matching cookie + book quote tag favors!

Okay, so this idea could really be used for any baby shower theme – it’s so stinkin’ cute & creative! Use a baby bottle as salad dressing dispenser… a great way to mix in some signature “baby” elements with all the books.

8. “Keep Calm And Read Me A Book” Party Sign by Katrina Louise Photography
One of my favorite details from this beautiful book inspired baby shower is this Keep Calm sign! I love how it’s paired with a sherbet-colored streamer backdrop for a lunch spread outside.
