My baby shower was more than I could have hoped for! The theme I went for was a “vintage tropical” theme…and anything else that looked pretty or caught my eye To me, details make an event! So, I’m sharing all the details of my baby shower with you guys and I’m going to do my best to link everything, as well as the vendors I used for anyone who is in the LA area!
The Mimosa Bar:
Ok, so this turned out amazing! We had this organic balloon garland made that was floating around the entire mimosa table and it was magic! We used command strips and jumbo command hooks to keep the balloons up as well as the sign. Vendor: Pop Balloons
For the champagne cooler, I got a Galvanized metal bucket from pottery barn and it was perfect.
We also had a “mom-osa” section of the bar and we used Drink Ready to Pop for the virgin champagne and it was so delicious (and it matched perfectly with my decor, they also come in a baby blue for those having baby boys)!
Another fun detail at the mimosa bar were the flower ice cubes. Everyone loved them and they were so easy and fun to make! You only need some pretty little flowers (and leaves) and an extra large ice cube tray!
I’m still obsessed with how this all turned out! Not only was it so pretty, it was sooooo dang yummy!!!
Everything was from The French Confection Co. except for the donuts. They were, of course, Krispy Kreme and they made them for me in baby pink!
All the pretty white serving plates were from Home Goods as well as those little crate boxes.
Signage:
So, one of my best friends actually took care of all the games for me and I just wanted to share how cute they were and share the fun ideas with you.
Game 1: Guess the Baby Food
*we had 4 different flavors for each table to taste and guess the flavor
Game 2: Guess the size of the Mama-to-be’s Belly
*each guest guessed how big my belly was by cutting a piece of yarn according to what they thought. The closest person wins.
Game 3: How Sweet It Is
*guests had to match up the candy bar to the appropriate pregnancy term (this one was so fun)
Game 4: Draw a Baby
*guests had to put paper plates on top of their head and without looking draw a baby as best as they could (this one was also really funny and I got some really interesting drawings to pick from)
Game 5: Candy guessing game
*Guess how many in the jars
*The pineapple bags were gifts for all the winners. Gifts consisted of candles, sugarfina candy and aromatherapy oil reed diffusers.
Tip: make sure you have at least 5 tie breaker questions ready
The flowers I asked for were a hybrid between a garland and a centerpiece and they came out so dreamy! The florist also made the garland for the Welcome Sign and my amazing flower crown!
Florist: Rose Bud Floral Design
Favors:
My favors were these cute little mason jars full of pink kettle corn and custom “ready to pop” stickers.
