Baby showers are a lot of fun and the generosity of friends and family is very helpful when you’re having your first baby. It can also be pretty overwhelming to receive so many gifts at once!
Since you’ll want to send out a thank you card to each of your guests, it is important to keep track of all your gifts so you don’t have to send out generic notes.
I was blessed by a wonderful baby shower with my first baby. I tried to mention the baby item received in each note to let that person know I paid attention to a gift they likely put a lot of thought into. Thankfully, my mom knew to put someone in charge of writing everything down for me or I would have been up a creek without a paddle!
