Bouncing Baby Buckaroo Cowboy-Themed Baby Shower

Bouncing Baby Buckaroo Cowboy-Themed Baby Shower

I have to tip my hat to this cowboy-themed baby shower – its as cute as a speckled pup on a little red wagon! Coline and Nicole, of Sans Soucis Events, put together a delightful country celebration for mom-to-be Julia and her husband, in anticipation of the arrival of their own little cowboy, John. Adorable western party decorating ideas, a catered meal with a themed dessert table, and a fun old-west photo booth meant this party looked amazing, while guests had a great time. Little details and original themed party favors made this event extra special. So saddle up and check out all the creative cowboy-themed party ideas that were captured by Imagination Photography by Laurent Khoury.

A dessert table full of western flair and brimming with themed goodies welcomes guests to the shower. A desert scene backdrop, classic red and white gingham, burlap and wooden crates set the mood. Lots of miniatures give the table a charming, old fashioned look: tiny hay bales, miniature wheel barrows, red paisley bandanas, small wooden accents, a touch of sunflowers, and even a pair of plush rocking horses would make any cowboy feel at home! Little wooden chairs hold menu cards helpfully identifying treats, while tiny picket fences, wagons, hay bales, and even a stick horse are adorable country-style accents. There are even tiny milk bottle party favors, which hold creamy shower gel. Other party favors included individual microwave popcorn bags covered with About to Pop labels.

An amazing cake towers over all the other desserts, personalized with baby Johns name on a sheriffs badge. Galvanized tubs and apothecary jars hold assorted candies, while a small hay bale is an ingenious way to display themed cake pops. I love the use of cross cut tree stumps to build a cupcake tower! At the other end of the table, assorted fruits, marshmallows, and cookies stand by the chocolate fountain; individual mini desserts are tantalizingly convenient for self-service and enjoyment while mingling with other guests.

Mom Julias birthday coincided with the shower date, so the hostesses doubled the fun by making this event a birthday celebration, as well. While Julia and her guests waited for lunch to be served, they had a blast with a western-themed photo booth. Guests were invited to take home their bandanas and cowboy hats.

Coline and Nicole really outdid themselves with gorgeous place settings and coordinating centerpieces. Vibrant green, faux grass placemats, flower napkin rings, and lush sunflowers in bottles and jars contrast with white table cloths for a stunning, fresh effect. Each place setting included a baby cactus for guests to take home and nurture.

Sans Soucis combined classic and creative décor, menu, and favor ideas to create this cowboy-themed baby shower, and many of their ideas would effortlessly translate for a boy birthday party or other event. See more of their work by liking them on Facebook.
